INSIDER TIP: We recommend taking advantage of the resort's many golf cart shuttles, escorted by their friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is the quickest way to get around, and a great way to save your legs from the island's many hills! Choose from a studio, one-, or two-bedroom suite with dedicated living, dining, and sleeping space. We stayed in a spacious studio with a kitchenette. For a relaxing evening after a day in the sun, the suite-style accommodations are a perfect place to hang out and have game night! Each room comes equipped with a Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker and margarita glasses in the kitchenette. We used the Margaritaville gold tequila and mix that we picked up from the Grab N' Go on property. INSIDER TIP: Pack travel-friendly games and order a pizza for delivery to the resort to complete the perfect game night. What to Eat Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville restaurant is right on property and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy a full selection of themed drinks, appetizers and entrées. Our favorites were the jerk pork tacos, Margarita pasta and seafood mac & cheese. INSIDER TIP: Automatic gratuity is added throughout the resort but if your server is extra special, feel free to add on! Grab a bite for breakfast or lunch at the resort's Grab N' Go Café. Their breakfast sandwiches and coffees are the perfect way to fuel up for a fun-filled day. What to Do Our favorite spot at the resort has to be the Hilltop Pool for its relaxed vibes and stunning views. Relax with a drink at the swim-up bar to experience the essence of Margaritaville. Our favorite cocktails were the Perfect Margarita and Painkiller. INSIDER TIP: Visit during happy hour and get two-for-one on all drinks! INSIDER TIP: Hilltop Pool is open late! Red lights turn on after sunset as an eco-friendly alternative to night lighting, in an effort to protect the turtles as they navigate by moonlight. This resort features a second pool, situated right next to the beach, where you can enjoy a sea breeze and ocean view. Sip on a cocktail or grab a snack at the poolside “5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar”, located just outside the Margaritaville restaurant. At night, the resort comes alive with on-site entertainment. Check with concierge or reference the posted in-lobby schedule to plan your evening activities. Last, but certainly not least, there are three excursions that depart directly from the resort. Our top pick is the Champagne Sunset Sail. This extra special cruise is a luxurious way to spend your evening in style. You will be welcomed with champagne, along with an open bar and hors d'oeuvres, served by the incredible crew. Set sail around the bay, past nearby islands, and watch as the sun goes down. INSIDER TIP: This is a barefoot cruise for safety, so don't worry about wearing your snazziest shoes for this excursion. The sunset sail catamaran, named the Snorkel Cat, is also available for two different full-day snorkel excursions.
